Missouri Online License Plate Renewal System (MORE)
You are eligible to renew online if:
- You have a PIN (personal identification number) printed on your renewal notice.
- Your county collector’s office has transmitted property tax payment information to the department. You can check here for a list of the participating counties.
- You have a paid personal property tax receipt that lists the vehicle you are renewing.
- You have a major credit card or use E-Check. A convenience fee will be added to your credit card transaction fees.
You CANNOT renew online if:
- Your renewal notice does not contain a Personal Identification Number (PIN);
- Your registration is expired;
- You have a Disabled Plate and your renewal notice requires a physician’s statement;
- Your county has not electronically submitted personal property tax records;
- The vehicle is registered to a non-profit organization and is not assessed personal property tax by the county; or
- You have a commercial motor vehicle insurance policy or are self-insured.
Warning: If you register online and there are less than six days remaining until your renewal expiration date, you may not receive your new registration tabs before your current registration tabs expire.
